# ImSoSorryTrend FAQ

## What is the "I'm so sorry I lied" trend?

A TikTok photo-carousel format that went viral in October 2026. The first slide is an unrealistically polished version of a photo (often a childhood Halloween costume), each following slide admits one lie — the wig was not that good, the costume was homemade, the party was just the kitchen — and the last slide shows the real photo with the apology. The Spanish-language version is known as the perdón trend.

## Is there a free trial?

No. Sign-in and a credit pack are required. The $3 pack adds 300 credits — enough for 16 Fast sets or 4 Pro sets at the default 4 slides.

## What is the difference between Fast and Pro?

Fast charges 6 credits per image and is quicker and cheaper. Pro charges 24 credits per image and keeps your face and fine details better across steps. Both produce 3:4 slides at 1080×1440.

## Why does the generator edit the photo one step at a time?

Each slide is generated from the previous image, not from scratch, so every version stays recognizably the same photo — same face, pose and framing — with one more lie stacked on top. That is what makes the carousel read as a story instead of unrelated pictures.

## Can I edit the captions?

Yes. Every slide except the last one has an editable caption, before and after generation. The last slide is always the fixed apology line — that is the point of the format.

## Can I use my childhood photo?

Yes. You may upload your own childhood photo, or a photo of a child you parent or guard. Photos of other minors and public figures are not allowed.

## Can I make a carousel of my pet?

Yes — a clear photo of one cat or dog works with the same flow.

## How do I post the carousel on TikTok?

Download the slides, open TikTok, tap + → Upload → Photos and pick the slides in order 1 to N. Then add a trending sound — the carousel has no audio of its own.

## What happens if generation fails partway?

A confirmed failed step returns its charged credits automatically after refund processing. Finished steps are kept, so retrying continues from the failed step instead of charging you again.

## Will it change my face?

The goal is to keep your face, age, pose and framing identical across every slide — each step is instructed to change only one thing. AI editing can still drift, so check each slide before you post.
